I Heart Faces... Silhouettes

I've been following I Heart Faces for over two years now and never once entered a thing.  In an effort to break out of my comfort zone and celebrate photography I decided to FINALLY enter their contest.   I shall continue to do this, I do believe, and I'll do it from my Wit's End blog as opposed to my boring every day "Why I am a Mom and How do I Get Through the Day and What is the Point of all this Work" blog

I heart photography. I heart faces.

Utah Children Baby Photographer (Baby Ellie)

This shoot was done last Spring.  Baby Ellie is close to my heart because she, like my daughter, spent the first months of her life being loved by nannies in an orphanage in Ethiopia.  There is a special place in Heaven for the nannies who care for orphans.  I am sure of it.

I always offer discounted services for recent adoptive families, see my website for details.
(look under the tab "adoption love")

Utah Family Photographer, W Family

Making friends in a new place is sometimes a lot of work, but I can not help but be drawn to Shawn.  Her talents (that I know of so far) are many and I can tell I have a lot to learn from her.  I can't wait to finally get a home of our own because I'm going to pick her brain for design and decorating ideas.
Hopefully some of these shots can find their way onto the art museum that is her living room wall.

Utah Newborn Photographer. Baby C.

Melissa was my roommate in college for two years.  We ate a lot of hamburger helper and ice cream.  She makes really cute babies, her husband helps out in this department, providing the dark hair and complexion.  This little guy is their fifth and last.  I'm so excited that I was able to do these photos for her.   I was afraid I would get all baby hungry again, but I came home and slept all night and was glad.

Utah Children's Photographer - S Boys

These boys belong to my oldest friend in the world. Now that we live close to each other we can do a bit of raising children together. These boys were adoption miracles and she is now experiencing the thrill of morning sickness because SURPRISE! You're not actually barren! Life is funny. I can't wait to photograph her newest addition next year.

H Family

My sister friend, Beth, and her FIVE children.
I wish I were half the mother she is.
